Fast Coverage Painting with Emulsion and Masonry Paints on Interior and Exterior Walls and Ceilings

With its distinctive tiger stripe pattern, this is ProDec's most popular roller used by the trade with emulsion and masonry paints due to its excellent balance of performance and value for money. Giving a trade quality finish, it picks up plenty of paint without over-loading, enabling you to effortlessly power through large areas such as walls and ceilings, with even paint application for efficiency and excellent coverage to minimise the number of coats required. The fabric is machine woven, giving the fibres a double anchor with low lint and excellent durability, standing up to heavy duty use and washing out well after use, enabling the roller to be reused time after time.

The 12mm (0.5") medium pile is suitable for interior emulsion paints (eg. matt, silk, eggshell) on smooth surfaces such as plaster, drywall, ceilings (including light to medium textured plasters such as artex) and masonry paints on semi-smooth surfaces such as brick. It is suitable for colour changes both similar to the previous one and more substantial such as light to dark or vice-versa (the opacity/covering power of the paint is of course critical as well).

This roller is 15” (375mm) width, which is ideal for ultra-fast coverage of broad wall areas and ceilings when used in conjunction with an extension pole. It has a 1.75" (44mm) trade diameter core, so ensure you have a compatible double arm roller frame.

For best results the roller should be washed in cold or tepid water before first use to remove any loose fibres. Stand the roller on its end and allow it to dry fully (ideally overnight) before using.

For heavily textured masonry surfaces, consider using a longer pile roller such as ProDec's Heavy Duty roller which is cut to 18mm to better get into the texture.
